This is a clip of a small slide before straightening out again.
Points to notice, the leaning over the board and using one hand in the wave to stabalise you. Also the twisted upper body and the pushing of the back foot. Keep your legs flexed as it helps balance.
Practise these first. This wave isn't very good for slides really as it is not really steep enough.
